Hexalabs is early. We would rather say that than imply a history we do not have — you would find out anyway, and it would cost us the engagement. Instead, here is what we commit to in writing so trying us costs you very little.
A two weeks paid pilot
Start with a two-week paid pilot on real work from your backlog. At the end you decide whether to continue, with no further obligation and no notice period to serve. You will have seen the code, the communication and the pace before committing to anything longer.
Free replacement in the first 30 days
If an engineer is not working out in the first 30 days, we replace them at our cost, including the handover. You do not pay twice for the same seat, and you do not run the hiring process again.
Two weeks notice, always
Engagements run on two weeks notice. If it is not working, you are not trapped in it. We would rather you left early than stayed unhappy and told people about it.
You interview everyone
You interview every engineer before they join, and nobody is placed without your yes. Our screening notes come with each profile so you can see what we assessed and judge it yourself.
These terms go into your contract, not just onto this page. Ask us for them in writing before you commit to anything.
05 / START HERE
Tell us the role. We will come back with profiles.
Two fields to start. Everything else just helps us answer faster. If you would rather write a full brief, the brief builder takes four short steps.
A LITTLE MORE CLARITY
Good questions. Clear answers.
Still deciding? A short conversation is usually faster than another round of research.
Either. A single engineer joins your existing team under staff augmentation, working your process and your sprint. If the work needs the surrounding roles too — design, QA, DevOps — a dedicated team is usually the better shape, and we will say so rather than selling you more people than the work needs.
Every engagement fixes an overlap window with your working day before anyone starts, and it goes into the contract rather than being left to goodwill. Standups and decisions happen inside that window; everything else is written down. Tell us the hours you need covered and we will tell you honestly whether we can staff them.
Who holds the plan. With staff augmentation you direct the work and our engineers execute inside your process. With a dedicated team we provide engineering management as well as the people, and the team stays together across quarters so context is not relearned every engagement.
Yes, always. We screen against the problems your role actually involves and send you our notes alongside the resume, but nobody joins your team without your yes.
IP assignment is set out in the contract before any work begins. Ask us for the specific clause and we will send it — this is not something to take on trust from a vendor website.
Replacing them is our responsibility, including the handover. The specific replacement terms are agreed in writing at contract stage.
Tell us what the work is. We will tell you what it needs.
One engineer, a full product team, or a team to own delivery. Start with the problem.
